My Remodeling Project

We used suffolk latches not long ago to reequip an old country property that we had recently bought at a knock down cost. We did this as we were really keen on preserving the early character and appearance of the property. To ensure we completed the work perfectly, I researched the era in which it was built. From this research I could use as many iron monger products as possible to ensure I got the look just right. Taking a look around the cottage, revealed many ways in which I could clean up it to its past magnificence. I also spent a lot of time pondering about who had built the property and their life at the time.

Part of the setup also included restoring the barn and storage houses so we used butterfly hinges to make the interior and exterior doors appear like they came straight from the Victorian Time. From a customary ironmongery shop in the town, I managed to find the ideal products that also had a beeswax finish. We were very stunned at the regional interest in our plans including the neighbors who visited offering their suggestions and ideas. Always, I will remain so excited about keeping the early character features and respecting the heritage of our country cottage.
